God's word remains true over centuries |
|
By JEF SUTHERLAND For The Gazette These are the words of Jesus, said to his father, God, in a verbal prayer with the apostles present: "Thy Word is Truth" (John 17:17).
Was Jesus saying that just one word, "Thy Word" that God spoke is truth? Or did Jesus say only the words God spoke directly from heaven were the truth?
If you read the Scriptures, the answer to both of the questions is "no."
